We need to remember to recognize all the hard-working men and women who do a difficult jobs every day: DPW, trash collectors, mail carriers, nurses, police, and fire are just a few examples.

Find time in your day to say “Thank you.” They often work long hours, sometimes in extreme conditions. A small gesture goes  along way, as well as a bottle of water and a snack. This is how we can let them know we appreciate all that they do and we don’t take them for granted.
