Lively could have won

Sept. 13, 2018 |

Dr. Scott Lively (lawyer and evangelical Christian) lost his bid for governor by a wide margin. However, if just a small percentage of the vast, vast amount of churchgoers who didn’t bother to vote Sept. 4 had actually voted, Scott Lively could have easily won.

In the 1950s we were taught that the greatest danger to America was the Russian atomic bomb. However, in the late 1960s I came to the conclusion that the greatest danger to America was not the “A-Bomb” or Russian infantry divisions, but the American sofa situated in front of a television set.

Americans were more astute in the 1940s and 50s, but in the 1960s a sofa induced obliviousness started to settled in as many Americans developed a deep and abiding relationship with their sofa while situated like a beached walrus in front of secular television.

Throughout this television inspired spiritual journey, it is obvious that Lucifer has taken on the
role of a “flight attendant” making certain that the journey is as comfortable and non-controversial as possible until the traveler reaches his/her eternal destination. So many churchgoers have been deceived into abstain from voting because voting or being involved in politics is “controversial;” and
“nice people aren’t controversial.”     Clearly, this is deception. Jesus warned us of deception in these end times. We live in exciting times!
