I cannot agree that Tosado “was gracious in defeat” [article published in Nov. 14 edition of The Reminder].
First complaint from Tosado is that Sarno isn’t like Mayor Giuliani after stating that Sarno had his Giuliani moments. He then criticizes Sarno’s hollow gesture because Sarno suspended his campaign to focus on the problems of the Oct. 29 snowstorm. Tosado then talks about “lack of transparency in the Sarno Administration.”
Had he been gracious in defeat, wouldn’t Tosado have congratulated Sarno and wished him a successful four years as mayor and let it go at that?
