Vote for Flannery

Oct. 31, 2018 |

My name is Donald J. Flannery and I am running for State Representative in the 12th Hampden District to replace Angelo Puppolo. I want for you, the bills that Angelo voted against.

I will work to reverse those Laws that were passed, against your best interest, and work for more transparency and accountability.  Angelo also voted For his own pay raise, last year, after we were promised they would never vote for their own pay raise again and that it would be tied to a cost of living index and float with it.

The following information is from the major newspapers, MassFiscal and Beacon Hill Role Call.

Angelo Puppolo voted against defining emergency legislation and what qualifies a bill to be voted as emergency legislation. His pay raise was voted on as emergency legislation. Taking a vote  on restricting the Speaker and Minority Leader to eight years, requiring the Clerk of the House to posts the addenda on their website each morning along with supporting documents, giving legislators 24 hours to review legislation before a vote, advance release of legislative calendar, avoiding procedural gimmicks, block slipping through controversial legislation in informal sessions, requiring all committee votes to be recorded and to be recorded on their website within 48 hours, implementation of income tax rollback.

Please read my website, I want to be your fiduciary, putting your interests above mine.
