Ward 7 debate scheduled

Oct. 8, 2015 |

This letter is written to inform everyone of the Ward 7 City Council debate scheduled for Oct. 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Spring Meadow Apartments. The final details of the debate are being worked out but the date, time and place are set.

I am happy that this debate has been scheduled.  Participating in the debate is consistent with my policy of being available for anyone and everyone for the last 6 years. I believe strongly that availability and access are critical for all elected officials, and I have made it part of who I am.  I look forward to seeing you at the debate or at any other of the meetings I attend regularly – including East Forest Park Civic Association, Sector H meetings, Outer Belt Civic Association, Sixteen Acres Civic Association, the ‘Crime Watch’ meeting, or my office hours, which have been traditionally held on the second Wednesday of the month at the East Forest Park Library from 5 to 6 p.m..

I hope you will be able to attend the debate or one of the upcoming meetings. Keeping us all involved in the democratic process as much as possible is critical to our future.

Here are the two best ways to contact me. My cell phone is 427-4650 (call or text) and my best email is timallen1951@hotmail.com.

I hope you are all doing well and hope to see you soon.

Tim Allen
Ward 7 City Councilor
Springfield
