Great article about the response to the number one donut!

I have eaten many donuts in my day and I, also, grade them.

Dunkin Donuts are terrible.

Mrs. Murphy’s are good, far to heavy to eat. They need to lighten up.

Donut Dip need less sugar and they have cut the size of the filled donuts.,

The Donut Hole in Eastham on Cape Cod are large donuts and too heavy to digest.

Number One is the best [Bob’s Bakery]. These people are celebrating 50 years in the business and have produced excellent bakery items. Bob’s is the place to get your donut. I tried their plain donuts with a little bit of cinnamon and sugar and it was excellent. Good size, light and easy to eat, not difficult to digest.

So whoever the people were who taste-tested hit the nail on the head.

Bob’s also makes excellent rye bread, pineapple cheesecake and many other good tasting pastry items like a real bakery many years ago. The people who own Bob’s are always pleasant and patient and helpful. I congratulated them in being number one when I came into their bakery and they were very humble about it. They are also generous to the community.

So, what are you going to taste-test next?
