CHICOPEE
LIVING AGAIN
A support group to help those who have suffered the loss of a loved one, no matter when, will meet on Aug. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Chicopee Council on Aging, 7 Valley View Ct. The group is facilitated by Irene Remillard. For more info call Jared at 534-3698 or Irene at 594-6092.

EXERCISE PROGRAM
The Chicopee Council on Aging is offering Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program at the Chicopee Center, 7 Valley View Ct. Monday class at 1:30 p.m. and Friday class at 10:30 a.m. Participants will go through a series of gentle movements and activities designed to increase mobility and range of motion. Participation in this program will help keep joints flexible, maintain muscle strength and build overall stamina. The class is free to Chicopee residents 60 and over. CHICOPEE SENIOR TRAVEL CLUB
Enjoy a breathtaking journey through the Adirondack Mountains to the St. Lawrence Seaway and the famous 1,000 Islands. Tour will include a paddle wheel boat cruise among the 1,000 Islands, including a stop at Heart Island to visit Boldt Castle and a tour of the impressive FDR Power Project in Massena, N.Y., and its Eisenhower Locks. HOLYOKE
PISTOL SAFETY COURSE
Due to increased demand an N.R.A. Basic Pistol Safety Course will be offered at the Holyoke Revolver Club Indoor Range on Aug. 15 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. This is a hands-on shooting experience teaching the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. A National Rifle Association Basic Pistol Course Certificate as well as a State of Massachusetts Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. ANNUAL PAPER CITY REGATTA
On Sept. 13, a fully accessible regatta with a 5,000 meter inclusive head race and 500m and 1000m adaptive only races will take place out of Holyoke's new boathouse at the Jones Ferry Access Center. YOUTH ROWING PROGRAMS
Holyoke Rows is offering programs for kids 10 and up to learn to row and kayak. A one week, half day rowing program (12 years and up) will be offered Aug. 17 - 21. MEETING

ZANETTI SCHOOL MEETING
There will be a special meeting of the Hungry Hill Neighborhood Council on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Hungry Hill Center, lower level of Our Lady of Hope Church. Representatives from the city's School Department will discuss the proposed plans to accommodate the traffic flow at the new Zanetti school. All interested residents are welcome to attend; light refreshments will be served.

TUESDAY LUNCHEONS
At the Tuesday luncheons at the Hungry Hill Center in August there will be a roast turkey dinner on Aug. 11 and spaghetti on Aug. 25. Reservations are required one week in advance; the cost is $2. HOMELESS CAT FUNDRAISER

The Lumberjack Classic Vintage Base Ball Contest will take place at Bullens Field on Aug. 8. Gates open at 5 p.m. for homerun hitting contest open to all. Game is at 7:30 p.m. The game is a benefit game to help defer the medical costs for Kenny "Lumberjack" Toporowski, catcher for the Westfield Wheelmen, who is stricken with cancer. TALENT/MODELING COMPETITION
Announcing the return of the annual Westfield Fair Talent and Modeling Competition, sponsored by Backstage Pass Costume Company. Forest Park brings its mobile zoo to Stanley Park on Aug. 14 from noon - 1 p.m. to give children the opportunity to get up close and personal with wildlife. The Sunday Night Concert Series at Stanley Park will continue with Sgt. BOOK DISCUSSION
