EAST LONGMEADOW – Children of all ages had a spooktacular time at the “Not So Scary” Trunk or Treat & Haunted House at the Pleasant View Senior Center on Oct. 19.

Hundreds of families attended the event, which was hosted by the East Longmeadow Recreation Department and the East Longmeadow Rotary Club. Children dressed as vampires, ninjas and princesses, to name a few, made their way through a dimly lit hallway filled with decorations depicting ghosts and skeletons as well as senior center volunteers in their Halloween finest.

After leaving the building, families visited vehicles decorated with themes from “Harry Potter” to “Encanto” and general Halloween designs, such as skulls, jack-o’-lanterns and cauldrons. To finish off the event, kids were able to roast marshmallows over a fire.
