GREATER SPRINGFIELD Women's and men's rugby teams are accepting signups online now through April 17 for all Western Massachusetts rugby teams. Registration forms are available online at www.springfield rugbyclub.com. Open to all athletes, returning and new players. Give rugby a try! The Springfield Rugby Football Club, founded in 1969, has fielded a men's club to the sport of rugby. Springfield RFC is one of the country's oldest clubs with a strong reputation within the New England Rugby Football Union (NERFU). The club is registered with NERFU and USA Rugby. In 2007, the club expanded membership to include women's and high school (U19) boys and girls programs. The interest continues to grow for rugby and the club.
