EAST LONGMEADOW — On June 16, Polish National Credit Union hosted a grand reopening in the lower level of its East Longmeadow office, previously Premier Source Credit Union, located on 232 North Main St.

“We’re celebrating the merger of Polish National and Premier Source,” said Branch Manager Diane Afonso. “The original merger took place in June of 2022, and since then we have fostered strong relationships, expanded our field of membership by adding East Longmeadow to our eight strong locations and have committed to providing the best possible service to our members, welcoming everyone into the PNCU Family.”

The celebration was filled with on-site activities including face painting, corn hole, a visit from Say Cheese Food Truck, Batch Ice Cream Truck and music provided by Dina McMahon of 94.7 WMAS. PNCU also offered CDs at 5% and a $300 deposit for new members who opened a Perks checking.

Founded in 1921, Polish National Credit Union provides a full range of financial services to individuals, families and businesses. Now with East Longmeadow being their eighth location, PNCU covers a much wider scope of the market, with their branches in Hampden, Wilbraham, Granby, two in Chicopee, Westfield, Southampton and Chicopee Comprehensive High School. PNCU promises to deliver exceptional products and services, providing everything the big banks offer with a personal touch to work with their members and help them as much as they can.

“We saw that the East Longmeadow market is a great market that needed our personal touch,” Afonso explained. “We build on making the community strong and help individuals and businesses strive financially, so we figured East Longmeadow would be a great location to do that and to let our members know who we are and get our name out there.”

She continued, “We’ve gotten such positive feedback from the members of Premier on the change and how people are so happy to have us in the community to service them. Overall, everyone with a positive attitude that comes in are grateful that we’re here to help them and make their banking easier, so hearing that is rewarding in itself.”

PNCU will be at the National Night Out in East Longmeadow on Aug. 1 from 5- 8 p.m. and the East Longmeadow 4th of July parade.

PNCU’s hours are Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Each day the drive-up opens at 8:45 a.m.
